My Professional Portfolio
This page showcases products I have created or contributed to throughout my professional experiences.
I led the development of step-by-step tutorials on using Esri’s pre-trained deep learning models for SDG-related applications. The StoryMap series contains guides on the Flood Segmentation, Crop Classification, Text Analysis, and Solar Panel Detection deep learning models.

SDGs Today hosted a high-level workshop to showcase practical GIS, EO, and AI use cases, tools, and applications to support governments leveraging geospatial and AI technologies to achieve the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement, and the Kunming-Montreal Biodiversity Framework.
I created an Esri dashboard to visualize representatives from ministries, MDBs, tech companies, UN agencies, donors, and other organizations participating in the workshop.

At the end of my internship with NASA’s Equity and Environmental Justice program, I presented the projects I worked on, their outcomes, and reflections on my experience. The main tasks I contributed to were newsletters, the creation of a climate worksheet to inform planning efforts at Kennedy Space Center, and drafting a StoryMap showcasing the newly funded A.47 ROSES (Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Science) projects focusing on EEJ issues and community engagement
I helped create interactive web maps for the global course on sustainable development, Ages of Globalization, led by Professor Jeffrey Sachs. My responsibilities included data searching and cleaning, map creation in ArcGIS Pro, and creating the feature layers in ArcGIS Online. These feature layers exist in Instant Apps in their own designated Data Hub for the course.
Additionally, I added GIS instructions to some of the lessons where applicable so students could gain GIS experience using a public ArcGIS account.

During my AmeriCorps VISTA term, I worked with the Climate Action team in the County of Hawaiʻi to help draft the Integrated Climate Action Plan in 2023. My responsibilities included revising the language, creating tables for departmental actions, and creating graphics. In combination with this plan, a fellow VISTA and I created a Sustainability Dashboard in ArcGIS Experience Builder, visualizing waste and emissions data at the County level.

I created this map for the paper “Salinization of the Bangladesh Delta Worsens Economic Precarity” published in Population and Environment in 2022. The original (pre-2006) and extended (post-2007) salinity fronts are demarcated by the red and blue lines, respectively. This map outlines unions in Bangladesh where water is always brackish, unions where water is newly brackish, and unions where water is always fresh.
